I ended my lovely vacation in Skåne with one day of coaching key-people in the “To Perform Gender”-project at my old acting school in Malmö.

So many things were discussed and my image of the situation at the school grew clearer. There is so much good work going on, it seems! But there is a need for more specialized competence in order to describe the development and to permanent awareness of gender issues.

To clearly communicate what gender aware performing has to offer (and has already offered!) to the theater community, we need to merge experiences from gender studies and acting methods. I hope to be able to play a role in this.

Just throw some money my way, and I’ll do it!
